I am trying to put together an estimate for a concrete repair project. The project consists of injecting concrete columns with an epoxy resin. RS Means shows a production rate of 80 lf per day. I need to estimate what percentage of the labor is spent on prepping the concrete, injecting the concrete, and cleaning the concrete. Does anyone have any insight on this. My contractor has been useless in trying to put together this information.

Call the "Crack Team" - a local epoxy injection firm.

Probably someone in your area can do the same.

Give "Crack-X" a call, they can probably give you an estimate. 1-877-272-2539

Mike- "Crack Team" made me laugh out loud. That could have several meanings, and the one that came to my mind you would not want on your construction site!

We specify alot of repair work on concrete structures. Lately, we have been seeing around $65-$75/LF as an average cost for epoxy injection of cracks. This obviously will be affected by site access, work constraints, location, etc. We are in the midwest and these projects have been of relatively ease of access, and work constraints. We have seen it as high as 90/LF for more difficult type of projects. Typically, these include all of the costs you have labeled above. Not sure if this answers your question, but thought this may help.

The "Crack Team" came to town about 20 years ago - not my idea of what I would call a company.

But apparently they do good work and are quite successful....

Kind of the like the "Big Ass Fan Company" that makes huge overhead fans - like 10' diameters.

Go figure??!!

One more - just saw their truck.

"Big Boy Erections" - yep, they erect steel. Every time I see their trucks I just about wreck!! Pretty large local firm!!

We have a local residential foundation company named "Made'n'Formed Foundations".
