Concrete Slurry Walls

I am looking for recommended details of joints between individuals panels of concrete slurry walls. The project involves 150 ft deep, 60 ft diameter shaft. Concrete slurry wall is one of the contemplated options. However panel joint integrity and groundwater leakage into the shaft is a major concern. We are considering using CWS (Couffrage avec waterstop) jonts patented by Bachy Soletanche. However, I am not aware of any recent applications of CWS in the US.

You're probably better off with a performance spec rather than sticking your neck out and detailing the contractor's means and methods. I'd check with the larger cities in your area for similar experience, then check with some of the specialty foundation contractors. You will quickly find out if your proposed excavation has been done in your area/geology, and who has the expertise.

Is your slurry wall intended to be the final wall for your shaft?
