hi,

any idea on how to determine the fracture energy in *concrete, *tension stiffening, type=displacement model? any good documents/book explain on how the fracture energy work in concrete?
wondering how to determine the 'specimen length' (L) as mentioned in Abaqus user menu 18.5.1, is that the length of the element mesh?
please advise.

Hi,

there are some hints in CEB model code 1990. The crack displacement was defined by Hillerborg in a tension test as a material property. There are several equations in the model code to appreciate the values!
