Connecting 10 gauge wire to a TO-220 Power MOSFET

I am building a controller for a retarder. A power MOSFET is being used to control whether the retarder is on or off. I need to connect a large gauge wire, I've been using 10 gauge, to the MOSFET which is in a TO-220 package. I've contacted digikey, newark, and mouser about connectors which would make this an easy process but have been unable to locate anything. Soldering the wires to the pins is a cumbersome process so I'm looking for an alternative. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance!

NCEE,
How about a set screw lug?? If the termination point has holes, a ring terminal compression lug and screws and nuts??

Digikey's search engine gets better certain ways while becoming more brain damaged in other ways. I tested the original links before posting them yet now "DATA SET EXPIRED".

So these are the links they say I can email, which I would presume means 'won't expire'...

If they do just put in the part numbers:
WM2550
WM2551

"retarder is on or off." Is this for a diesel? I would have concerns about mechanical vibrations on the leads with wires of that weight over time.

Most semiconductor packages are not designed for connecting cables to them, even if there are screw terminals. The packages are designed for connection to a PCB or a laminated busbar. From mechanical point of view a cable introduces significanly higher forces and torques into the package as the intended connection.

Beside that there is usually the requirement for low inductance connection which is difficult to fulfill with wires.

So, spend some time to design a small PCB.
