Hi everyone
I have faced a major problem. I don't know how to connect skirts to composite cylinders containing gas.
It does not matter what is the skirt made of.

I will be grateful if you can recommend me a reliable reference about general methods of connecting skirt to composite cylinders containing gas.

I suggest you consult BS 4994:87 or EN 13121-3 (a number of versions/dates.

Both specifically written for glass/resin composite - but I am sure will work well
with carbon - epoxide.

My preference is for the 'egg in egg cup' Fig 19 in EN 13121-3.

Both have been used on quite large skirted vessels.
