I am modeling a very thick concrete slab which has a deep beam (both of them are shell elements). For considering the differences in centerlines I made an offset between beam and slab joints. My question is that how can I use body constraints to make the connection between beam and slab joints.
If I select all the joints along the boundary of slab and beam and assign a new body constraint to them to make a connection it acts as a rigid support and it ends up with no deflection in constraint joints which is not realistic because these joints are part of slab and should have reasonable deflections.
Thanks for your help
