Connection between light gauge CFS studs and CMU block 1

Please refer to attached PDF sketch. I am designing a light gauge stud wall/parapet to fasten to the exterior face of CMU block. I'm having trouble finding a framing angle in the Simpson Strong-Tie catalog that meets this criteria. I have a call into my Simpson sales rep and sent a message to the Simpson website for assistance. The Simpson C-CF-2017 catalog does provide allowable loads for a FC bypass framing fixed clip connector fastened to cracked/uncracked concrete (p. 60). My other idea was a Simpson S/HGMA10 hurricane tie (p. 270), but is this only for securing into the grouted top surface?

This seems like a typical connection. Any info/advice is appreciated!!

Can you just use a light 16 ga clip angle fabricated from sheet... a couple of tapcons and some CFS fasteners...

I would be using some sort of 14ga clip (steel network Stiffclip AL or Simpson equiv) with Tapcons into the CMU. Their pullout would likely control the design. Sometimes, I add a bit of prying force to the mix to make it more conservative. If the loads are high, you can switch to a Stiffclip CL and use a 1/2"Ø epoxy bolt.

Agree with XR250 although I would probably allow for just a regular 14 GA or 12 GA clip angle fabbed from sheet as Dik suggests too if asked.
