Dear All,
Have you got any idea of floor slabs and RCC walls connections?
I think during EQ stresses are generated due to lateral force near the connection between the floor slab and RCC wall.
I am designing PH where RC wall is connected with floor Slabs.RCC wall width is very high with respect to the slabs.
I think due to the high width its deflections will be negligible however I want to check the stresses.
If force transfer occurred during deflection then slab thickness near the connection might be less and failure might occur (my assumptions.) Thus is there any code provision or reference for determining the thickness of slabs near the connections.
