Hi. We work with equipment recovery. We need to manufacture a component with a DI-22 - 8 1/4" thread. I need the manufacturing measurements or standard for this thread. Can you help me?

Hmmm

It looks like this is from Drilco Industrial and developed several decades ago.

There is a patent listed but with no dimensions and no one seems to know the dimensions or manufacturing set up other than the current manufacturers!

Ring these guys and ask them, but think they might decline to provide you with their proprietary information.
or
Is this you?
So it doesn't look like a "standard" per se but a proprietary thread manufactured by a select bunch of drill pipe suppliers.

Remember - More details = better answers
Also: If you get a response it's polite to respond to it.

Ha! It was me in Elsmar Cove... Anyway, DI 22 is propietary. You should contact some gage manufacturer or licensee.

Well, BECO was engineered by Drilco Industrial (the DI of DI-22) but it is a bit different. DI-22 is commonly used for raiseboring (tension) while BECO is used for blasthole drilling (compression).

Black Ships I learn something everyday - thank you for the detail. I know nothing about this thread type and was intrigued by the OP's search for data. DI is not a BECO - they will have to keep searching.

Thank you everyone so far for trying to help me.
