connector well/cross flow modelling in mbal

hi guys,
just in the process of trying to model a connector well between two reservoirs where gas from the higher pressured res will flow into the other reservoir and hence will be produced by existing producing wells.
just run into some trouble trying to do the cross flow model for the connection between the reservoirs. i also have the idea of possibly using gap to model this where gap would act as the connection between the two reservoirs.
also is there anyway to define how long your connector well is in mbal.

any help here would be extremely appreciated.
