Hi to all
have you ever seen this event? I observed it many times. when I want to simulate a rotating body which is deformable and comes into contact with another deformable-body, this problem appears. for example, when we simulate friction stir welding, during the process ( when we animate it) the tool (Target), its size changes consecutively and abruptly ( although the output is almost correct).or when we simulate rolling ball moves along with the plate, this consecutive changes in size for the ball appears again. in my class, students asked me many times why this problem appears although the outputs are correct. but I couldn't answer it. for more clarification, I attached an animation file. it would be nice of you if look at it. any comments would be appreciated.
