Hi All,

Jus wondering what sort of automatic control mechanism (through a PLC, i guess) can we use for maintaining Constant line speed on a hydraulic man rider winch. Who are the potential suppliers of such sensors etc. ?

Safety controls are going to be the most important issue. How do you do an emergency stop, avoid overload, and bring the person back down safely just some of the issues. Speed can be controlled by a contact wheel sensor.
