Hi,
I'm stuck trying to do a contact analysis on Ansys 7.0, maybe someone can help me out. I'm trying to model steam turbine blading assembled to a rotor, the model consists of two blades which twist against each other.
I've identified the contact surface pairs between the two blades and meshed everything with solid92 elements, but am stuck now on how to designate contact and target surfaces. I think the contact type should be flexible to flexible as both blades are made from the same material and twist upon assembly. I've also read in the documentation that each pair needs its own real constant, how does that work for a complex solid with loads of contact faces?
Any suggestions or maybe links to helpful tutorials?
