Hello,

I am working on a project in ADAMS with multibody dynamics and intermittent contact. I have been using the IMPACT contact model, and the simulation is performing as it should, but for post-processing, I need to know not only the normal forces at each contact, but also the nominal contact area. I've struggled to figure out how to actually do this, so I thought I would reach out and see if anyone could help me out.

Thanks

Take the force history from ADAMS and apply it to an FEA model. It may be possible to extract the stresses in ADAMS/Durability but I don't know how.

Cheers
