Contaminated Drawing Template?

The drawing template provided with SW 2001+ doesnt come up as an option when requesting a new document. Also I can't open it from the program using the open command. This is a new install, not an upgrade.

Has anyone else seen this?
Is it the template or the program?
If it's the template, is there any way to just load a new template and not do a whole new, pain-in-the-XXX, uninstall-reinstall?

Go into your System Options, File Locations, and see if your "Referenced Documents" is pointing to the location where your templates reside. "The attempt and not the deed confounds us."

If you find that your DRAWING TEMPLATE is - in fact - contaminated, you should be able to create a new one from an existing drawing.
Last resort, someone (possibly your VAR) would gladly e-mail you a new template.
