Dehydration system in our natural gas separation plant is molecular sieve type we are having problem with being hit by free water causing bed loss and we are now seeking for the experts or consultants who has such expertise to systematically identify the root cause, issue the report of root cause and provide recommendation for problem solving (redesign or modification).

With this objective, we are interesting to be advised the contractors i.e ISG, ?

Thank you very much.

the root cause is water slugs. Why do you need a consultant. Go upstream and find out why there is free water. Is it because the gaswells are not operated right? change operations Or is there natural condensation of water. If so, do you pig the line, if so, Is the slug catcher big enough. either pig more often or bigger slug catcher If you don't pig, is you slug catcher big enough. Either pig or get a bigger slug catcher.

Is there a amine treater? if so, put in a better filter seperator (coalessing). In any case, look at the inlet filter separator.

Look all done.

We've covered this in the past few days on post 220093 - check out the replies there - sounds like the same problem.....
