hi,
I am pasting an excel sheet into a drawing to create a schedule. In order to easily incorporate grahpic symbols into the excel page, I was drawing the graphic in autocad, pasting in the excel sheet, and giving them both individual viewports. I wanted to postion the viewport with the ACAD graphic over the viewport containing the ole object in papaer space.
Everything seemed to be going OK, and the print preview looked like i intended, but when I printed, the ole obect would hide the drawing in the other viewport.
FWI, the viewports are not set to hideplot, and the views within the viewports are 2D wireframe. I tried moving the graphic "in front of" the ole object in modelspace (i.e. along the z axis), but that didn't help.
I'm new to ole objects, and I'm sure this is a common porblem. Is there a way to control the "stacking" of viewports, or send certian object to the "bacj"
Any help appreciated.
