Is there a free program available that our buyer can use to convert pro/e drawings to DXF and DWG ?

Short answer: Nope!
I spent ages trying to find a program to do this, and can't find it.
However the good news is that there are a number of companies that wil convert it for you: a search engine should pop some up.
The bad news is they will charge a fortune, so it's not free...

The best way is to use proe to save the file as a third format, like IGES, and then convert that to DWG.
If you do that though, check the results very carefully. Details can and do go missing.

Send info to ymolner@Avineon.com to help you with those conversions they are tough but can be done.
