I have a small single phase dry type transformer. 52 FLA, 480/220V, 2.3 %Z, 1.13 X/R..

Anyone who uses ETAP knows that when finding short circuit duty, it only works on 3 phase systems. So, I plan on making my transformer a 3 phase unit and just fault it phase to phase to see the equilvilent short circuit duty on the seconday buss. only problem is..I cant seem to get it quite right. anyone out there like riddles? try a crack at it, and let me know if there is any information that is necessary.

Can you model a phase to ground fault on a wye connected bank?
Is there any reason that this will not give an accurate answer?

Not a ETAP user but any SCC software should print out both 3 phase and SLG fault duties. It only needs 3phase inputs. Look for dealiled report to selections if any.
