Hello,
Is there away to condense an assembly (with 100s of components) down to one single body? Export>parasolid is not what I'm wanting.
Thank you,
Trent

If you have advanced assemblies you can use the Simplify assembly function...That will create linked bodies from all your components and unites them...

Parasolid export/import will, as you know, remove all parameters.

File Export - Part can export the bodies you select in the assembly to a single part and keep the parameters.
If you do it in "older versions of NX" you need to make sure that all parts are fully loaded. Later versions ( NX10 ) will load the required files fully.

You will NOT get a single body, unless you unite the bodies into 1.
To do this the bodies must have contact with each other.

Regards,
Tomas
