I just wanted to check my thinking. In Pro Mechanica, when I do a random vib, I can get a profile in a^2/Hz (a=acceleration in/s^2) Vs Hz, but I want to convert a^2/Hz into G^2/Hz. So for example, if I have 1x10E6 a^2/Hz and convert it to G^2/Hz, will the following make sense:
a=386.4 in/s^2=1G
so
a^2=386.4^2 (in/s^2)^2 = 1G^2
thus
a^2=149305 (in/s^2)^2 = 1 G^2
so
(1x10E6 a^2/Hz) x (1G^2 / 149305 (in/s^2)^2)
= 6.7 G^2/Hz
Does this make sense?
Thank you for your time and effort.
