hi. i have a graph related to air power oil pump in sae 30 condition. how can i know outlet capacity and flowrate in sae 120. i want to use this oil pump for sae 120 oil.

SAE 120 looks to be about 30cP versus about 10 for SAE 30 at 100C.

So it will reduce in performance a little bit, but is this a piston type pump?

The temperature of your oil is much more important.

At 20C SAE 30 is about 260 cP, but SAE 120 at 20C is about 600cP. So will be a lot harder to flow in the same size pipe. For a piston type pump this sort of viscosity might mean it doesn't fill the piston on its inlet stroke. SO performance of the pump is compromised.

You can't just look at the pump - you need to consider the whole system.

What pump type, centrifugal, piston, diaphragm?

It is a capital mistake to theorise before one has data. Insensibly one begins to twist facts to suit theories, instead of theories to suit facts. (Sherlock Holmes - A Scandal in Bohemia.)
