how to check chain tension accordig to standard method

Hey, just too vague!
At least tell us what sort of chain, and what the application is.

conveyor chain tension
roller chain type assembled between two cogged sprocket with center distance 3500 mm
and tension rod used for tensioning
the set of chains used to transfer steel bars (12 mtr) length with syncronization cycle without any deflection at the bar(the drive shaft is the same)
