I have a part that I want to draw a sketch on using an alternate cordinate system. I have put the new cordinate system on, then start a sketch by picking a part face, then draw a rectangle on it, but it uses the default coordinate system to make the rectangle's edges parallel to. Can the newly made coordinate system be associated to the sketch in some way?

coordinate system-associate to new sketch-can this be done?

Apparently not! According to the SW Help section, the alternate coordinate system seems to be only for measurement or mass properties.You should submit this as an ER to SW if it is important to you & encourage others to do the same. SW, understanably, only responds to big numbers of requests.
