Dear Colleagues,
Good day..

Could you help me please to solve an issue of incorrect reading of ABAQUS to the coordinates matrix in my UEL, I have different values of coordinates for the same input file, how can that happen please?

many thanks and regards

Thanks IceBreakerSours..

I have written the X matrix in the dat file for the same input file but the X is different for the same element coordinates and topology!!
Kindly what do you mean by flat input deck?

Best regards,
Msekh

In CAE, go to Model, Manager, Edit Attributes (for the chosen model name), check Do not use parts and assemblies in input files and then write a job (a flat inp).

See if the nodal IDs and their corresponding coordinates match with the ones you get in your UEL.

Thanks IceBreakerSours,
I think the problem came from the inp file since in the new inp file I wanted to add new Dof and I put it in the line

*USER ELEMENT,TYPE=U1,NODES=4,COORDINATES=2,VAR=10
1,2,3

while the standard one is
*USER ELEMENT,TYPE=U1,NODES=4,COORDINATES=2,VAR=10
1,2

Kindly do you know in which part can I add the new Dof in the input file please?

Many thanks and regards,
Msekh
