Has anyone seen fine strand aluminum - copper coated strands, 2/0 - 350kcmil range? I envision something similar to DLO.
I have heard of it. However, I have never seen any.
Has anybody heard of a supplier?

I've seen it used for things like portable drain earths for overhead line applications where raising a copper cable on the end of a hot stick would be a lot more effort. Mechanically I doubt it has great properties because of work-hardening of the conductors so personally I wouldn't entertain it for an permanent installation application where flexibility was a requirement.

Thanks for the response. I wasn't ignoring you, just out on a job for a few weeks.

So, no known supplier?
