What cutting grate profile are you using? the plate profile or the pointed sheet profile?

Hi KonQuer, I'm running a bystronic byspeed with Bytrans and have no issues with the copper slats. How come you say unfortunately to the bytrans?

It could be three problems causing the splash back.
First your focus is too deep.
Second could be too much power
Third the cutting grates could be dirty, too much slag build up on the grates.

Hi guys,
Thanks for all the reply, Henry was spot on about power being to much.
jonnyboy23, the reason why i said unfortunately for the Bytrans is that the Finger for the Bytrans is made out of Ali, ands its very easy bent. Also to get a replacement for those finger cost an arm and a leg, it was poorly design. Not only that but it took them 7 DAYS to get a proximty switch for it. (Has to come from Bystronic in Singapore.) Last time i check it took only about 6-8 hrs to get to Singapore from Australia. LMC is the rep for Bystronic in Aus and they are very pathetic and useless, every experiences tech at LMC that i been dealing with for last 10 years has moved on and now they getting a 17 drop out kid to do service on my 1.3 million machine.
Anyway thats only my 2 cents worth.
Thanks for all the reply once again. Cheers.

No Problem KonQuer. I have a suggestion for you, get on the Bystronic website and express your issues with the Rep to Switzerland. Put some fire under the ass of the Rep. The lifting fingers bending up? Krugtech and I were on a call with a similar problem one time, he may have a few suggestions on how to give them some added support.
