Here's the deal, I created an assembly that is welded. I do not use the weld features in SW. Instead I like to add sketch segments in the 2D drawing to represent the actual weld bead. This works out great for our welding department, because most of them do not know how to read real weld symbols.

The problem is that this can get very time consuming if I have staggered fillet welds, 1.00" long every 3.00". That's a lot of segments to add. Is it possible to copy or linear pattern sketch segments in the SLDDRW? If so, how?

Yeah, we do some of that too when a symbol alone just doesn't tell the full story.
Sounds like you need to add the "Linear Sketch Step and Repeat" button to your sketch toolbar. Sketch a cute little arc, click the button and repeat to taste for the first bead. Select this bead and repeat it again.

Thanks Mandrake22, that worked like a charm. I had the icon on my sketch toolbar, just never bothered to look into it before.
