Copy sketch to another plane 2

Can I copy one sketch to another plane which is parallel to the sketch plane without loosing its constraints? or fully defined.

If said sketch is going to be completely in line with the first sketch, start a sketch on the second plane, select the 'convert entities' tool and simply select the lines of the first sketch that you want.

... and if the entire sketch is to be copied, select it in the FM and then use the Convert Entities tool.

Click on the first sketch, Ctrl-C, Click on the plane or face, Ctrl-v.

You will have to reconstrain it in rotation and position. Usually for me it is simply a coincident with the origin and some horizontals and verticals.

I think your best bet is probably to do a derived sketch, esp if you're going to be making any changes to it.
