I hate asking how to copy & paste, but I am having an issue copying entire sketches. I just switched to using NX 8.5. I am trying to copy an entire sketch from one part into another part. When the paste dialog appears, I unselect the "Copy Resolving Geometry" because I already have geometry in the new part that I can use to define the sketch. It asks to "Specify CSYS" and I select my new plane. That makes an x-y-z coordinate system show up, but it is not in the right orientation. I basically need to rotate the coordinate system 90 deg about the z axis, but I can't find any way to do that. When I look in the -z direction, the x goes up instead of right. I want the new sketch to be the same orientation as the original sketch, but it keeps pasting incorrectly. I don't have any "reverse direction" options in the paste dialog like I do when I create a sketch from scratch to get the right orientation. Anyone have a suggestion? Thanks

Were you able to accomplish this successfully on previous versions of NX that you used ?

I believe I did. I was using version 6. I know I copied in sketches and never had an issue with the orientation. I don't know if I had this option though. It may have just by chance always pasted in the correct orientation. I only started using NX about 3 months ago, so I only did it a handful of times.

Found a viable solution. I copy in the sketch in the incorrect orientation. I can then "edit parameters" for the sketch and reattach it be on the same plane in the correct orientation

yes, I do it that way sometimes too
I am only on NX7.5 and on there all the menus need to be expanded to see all the options
