Guys,
I have a part that I'm trying to make out of 304 stainless steel. The problem I'm having is I need to obtain a flatness and parallelism of .0008 of an inch. Everytime I cut this material it tends to warp. My question is, Is there a stress relief process that will enable me to hold this close tolerence on 304 stainless, or what is a more stable stainless that would be easier to keep flat?
Thanks,
Doyle
