I am highly interested in corrosion in pumps. Could you please advise me some web sites?

What type of corrosion are you interested in finding out about. Internal components, Valves? What type of pumps are you working with?

Thank you for your reply.

I am interested in analysing of corrosion types that occur mostly in centrifugal pumps. The chemical attack of pump casing or impeller by H2SO4 solution @ relatively high T can be an example.

I would like to study on corrosion kinetics, prevention from corrosion in pumping bussiness & pump material selection against to corrosion.

i want to know pump corrosion caused by clorides, acid condition or oxygen. Also about how cloride can make severe corrosion ?
I use centrifugal pump, made of cast steel, corroded probably by cloride from brine.

International Nickel Development Institute have published a booklet on selection of stainless steel castings for pump castings, where they have selected different environments ,temperatures etc and suggested suitable material. You can contact them for any technical assistance which they readily provide.
