There is pipeline of 30inch diameter buried not ( not insulated and no cathodic protection on it) and there are electrical cables beside it
Is there effect of electrical cables on corrosion rate of pipeline and how can this pipeline be repaired when leak happen what is the recommended practices ?

Yes, there can easily be an effect from the electrical cables.

That's a darn basic question. Hire an expert to develop a corrosion plan for you.

Buried electrical cables should not cause any effect on pipeline corrosion. Overhead AC power lines running in parallel can cause corrosion by induced voltages and currents, but not buried ones. Only if there is a cable fault which leaks current into the ground can there be any bad effect on the pipeline.

There are many ways to repair a leaking pipeline depending on type of damage, extent of damage, contents, pressure rating etc

A pipeline with no coating(?) and no CP in a damp soil environment has a limited life span and extensive external corrosion will require replacement much sooner than a coated pipeline with CP protection.

Not many (any) details from you means that responses are also suitably limited.

If the cables are insulated there should not be any issues.

Pipes of 48m length and 30inch diameter is buried in sand
how can I make cathodic protection on it and how many no of sacrificial anodes?

Mohamed,

If you provide good information on this site, you will generally get good responses. However the info to date is very low.

Please provide:
length of pipe: - is it 48m in total or longer??
type of coating - type, thickness and age of coating
sand electrical resistance (water present or not)
Any salt water?

Some sort of sacrificial anode system might work, but without this sort of data no one stands a chance of getting it right.
