Hi all.
Is there any web page/blog showing that aluminium used in floating roofs is safe for storing gasoline? (i.e) Stating that there is no corrosion effect on aluminium by hydrocarbons/gasoline. Do anyone have any supportive docs. regarding this? If yes, then kindly share it. Thanks in advance.

They're commonly used for gasoline. The floating roof suppliers can help on questions like this.

What did the vendors of these roofs tell you when you called them ?????

What do you mean you haven't called them ??

Aluminum floating roofs have been used for decades in gasoline service, mostly with excellent results. Aluminum is the material of choice for gasoline service.
