I am looking for any literature that describes the effects of rewelding Corten steel a number of times. I understand that normally rewelding of regular steel results in decarburization and crystallization of the parent material.
People who should know tell me that you can reweld Corten up to 10 times and the properties of the parent metal are not affected just because Corten does not have much Carbon content to start with. I am looking for something authoritative to support that statement.
thanks David Stanbury
