COSMOS contact analysis 1

Does anyone know that how contact analysis can be performed in COSMOS for two surfaces of two bodies that are NOT in contact initially but they may contact later as a result of body deformation?

You need to define a surface type contact pair. I recommend going through the tutorials available in DesignSTAR regarding contact problems. That should help you out in learning how to properly define contacts in DS.
