Anyone can help me with the estimation of cost for Rock excavation for 220 Kv High tension tower foundations. One tower leg is of 3mx3mx3m depth. It is an area with volcanic rock and dynamites are not an option. How much should I cost for a cubic meter of excavation there?

Thanks

Well I could tell you the job can be done for $100 or I could tell you it'll cost $1 million. Neither number would be much use to you as you have no way of determining my competancy in this matter. Why , oh why, are questions like this posted when a simple phone call to the product supplier will give you all the info you need.

Or call a contractor in the area who excavates rock. He may go a little high, but they usually are glad to know about a possible job. It always pays to be on friendly terms with contractors, since some day you may be having them on your job and getting along helps everybody.
