Is it possible (plausible?) to use Circularly Polarized (CP) antenna in a Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) array? My initial study is showing my smallest CP antenna has outer dimensions of lambda/2, and my SAR processing constraints need the antenna placed at lambda/2 intervals (pitch). That puts the antenna too close to not interfere with each other. Are there other options I should explore?

No reason you can't use CP, and in fact you'll find a number of design articles in IEEE showing research into just that.
