Good Day!!
Does subject mentioned fitting dimensions are same for all the time??
Or
Which changes from along with its grade/materials ??

What are actual dimensional standards for non-metallic pipe/fittings??

Have you done even a basic internet sweep??

Each material has a different size and there are, unfortunately, many different standards and even then, each vendor can have their own set of dimensions.

Have a look at the attached which demonstrates the sheer number of different specs for the same thing.

I would like to thank you for your reply.

I have been seeing the content like PVC/CPVC/UPVC since 2 years and I knew the only material grade only varies but dimensions remain same but even manufacturers should be making it's based on some standard right ??So I would like to have a clarity of dimension we use for water and chemical treatment plants??

Now GFRP/PVDF is new to my present project, so what are the best dimensional standard by a MANUFACTURER can be accepted??

We should be able to justify the dimensions of any fitting/Pipe/Components at end of the day.

Hope the best answer is expecting for universally accepted dimensions for all non-Metallic fittings?

Ask the vendors, for gre, grp and covered pvc/pp/pe etc. don't think there is a standard.
For plain pvc, pe pvdf etc. there should be standards.
 
There are, unfortunately, different standards in different countries and even industries.

So e.g. water industry will have e.g. an AWWA spec for PE, but another supplier uses and ISO code.

GRE/GRP in particular is very vendor dependent because there are too many bits of equipment in each vendor.

I see you're in India. The IS codes might be a different spec altogether based on an old British standard but no one wants to change because then things don't fit from one system to another and the manufacturers all need to change. They will all though meet some sort of standard, just sometimes its not clear which one.... Remember pipe is one part of the system - then they need to fit other components.

So yes, a universal sizing criteria would be great, but that's simply not how it works I'm afraid. You just need for any particular country or industry try and find the one which is the most used or available from suppliers.
