Create a standalone MATLAB exe

Hi everyone!

I've written a MATLAB code, with 3 functions and some output PLOT.
How can I create a standalone .EXE for a Matlab code? Is it possible?

You need to buy the (named for historical reasons) Matlab Compiler. It doesn't generate C code any more - hasn't done for many years. It allows you to create a hugely ugly and bloated runtime environment tha emulates Matlab and then runs your code in it. It's a deployment tool, used for sharing Matlab code with those who either have no license of their own, or for those who you want to keep source code secret from.

You need something called the MCRInstaller. Have a look at

http://www.mathworks.com/access/helpdesk/toolbox/compiler.

There is a sort of crib sheet there that tells you how to convert from .m files to executables. You need to have a C/C++ compiler accessible.

Check the mcc command with the -m option.
