CREATE A TOOL

I'm using NX6 and would like to know if you can create a tool to a special profile i use a lot of custom profile tool and this would be handy if its possible

You need to create a User Defined Milling Tool or a Turning Form Tool.

Search the NX help file for "user defined milling tools".

It will be your first hit.

Remember, these tools are very limited. As of NX6 they can only be used on "Planar Profile" and they can't even be selected in a machine control event.
