Create and propagate crack in epoxy

Hi everyone,
I'm new to Abaqus, and faced lots of problem during my modeling.
I have an epoxy which is brittle and under tensile stress there will be some cracks on its surface. how can I model this epoxy and crack propagation in abaqus?

May be you can start by using an elasto-plastic material model to simulate the tensile behaviour of the epoxy. If its brittle, VCCT may be used for crack propagation.
