Hi,

I am working through some training exercises and can not figure this one out. I want to create an Asymmetric Chamfer to one edge of my blade as shown the photo. When I chose my edge it selects the entire part. How do I select only 1 edge?

Using NX10.

Thanks in advance!

John

Photobucket is blocked at my work place so I can't see which edge you want to chamfer. However, I would guess that you need to check the selected "curve selection rule" after you start the chamfer command. Choose the "single curve" option; it sounds like it may be set to "body edges" which would select all the edges in the body.

Hi Cowski,

There is no "single curve" option? It only has edge at that point.

Thanks

John

The "curve rule" shows up in the selection toolbar, separate from the main command dialog.
