Create clipping on a dimension in R17

Hi,
Here is the problem. When I create a half dimension in
r17 and than apply a clipping to it(new function in r17), the arrow on the dimension disappear. Does anyone knows why it does that if there is any solution ? Or should I just do a full dimension and then clip it ? It works ok on the full dimension.
