Is it possible to create a datum plane based on bounding box coordinates? I need the plane to encompass a certain area in the assembly for visual purposes.
If you're running NX 10.0 there's a new option in the Clip/Edit Section function where you can define a 'Box' type View Section by selecting an object of interest while in the Edit Section function, based on the bounding box of the selected object. Once there, you can define a Datum Plane on as many of the six sides of the 'box' as you wish.
