Create datum plane in CATProduct?

Maybe it's me but can't you create a datum plane in a CATProduct?

If not, I'd like to know the reasons why and any workarounds.

What we do is insert a part and call it axis, use the fix command.

Now you can use the axis system within the part as a datum.

On that part I would also recommend that you in the part property untick "visualizs in BOM"
