Hi,

I have imported two iges file into adams. I now want to create a cylindrical joint between them.
I have selected the joint under "connections" and clicked on the two bodies in contact. While I want to create the "location of the joint"(final step) neither the cm nor the marker are displayed. It only shows part1.shl.Vxxx. Even if I click on an approximate position and define the direction I do not able to see the joint.
Please help. Thanks in advance.

PS: I have tried appearance-> icon size. Doesnt work.

I'd add a marker to each body at the contact point and then create a joint between the two markers. The markers must be coincident and parallel.

Cheers

Hi,

Thanks for your answer. I missed the coincident part. And also there is a small button in the bottom right which makes you view the markers and joints. I disabled this previously, so nothing was visible.
