Create new Xhatch style

Hi All

Is there a way to create your own Xhatch style to have many various size bubbles in this one hatch, this would represent potting material.

unfortunatelly, I was not able to draw bubbles (I'm almost sure Tofflemire wasn't either).

Anyway, what's the right answer?
