Create Smooth Curve Thru Points

Greetings,

I have attached a print with several points listed that create a curve. Can someone point me to the best function to create this nice curve through these points? I know how to get the points in place, but have attempted to create an arc through these points and what I'm doing is not correct. Any help, greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Brent

Dawson,

Great eye on your part. I have identified points 12 and 13 do be incorrect data information. Awaiting confirmation from the customer; however, these two points make the curve not smooth (creates a dip). I did not know if I was picking the incorrect function or not. I also used studio spline, which if I skip those two bad points, the curve "appears" correct.

Thanks for your reply.

If a through points spline doesn't give a good result...

Fit curve -> fit spline will fit a smooth spline through your points, but it might not pass directly through the points.

Alternately, you could create point objects at the specified locations and create your own spline "by poles" that passes through the points within some tolerance. This method could take a lot of hand tweaking.

Cowski,

Much appreciated on the Fit Curve. I will attempt this next upon good data from the customer. Thanks again

I tweaked a couple of points and ran a 6th order polynomial fit
