What is the easiest way to create a thread around a cylinder? I have a broom stick and I need to create the threaded end in Pro/E. I've thought about sweeping around a projected curve but I'm sure there's an easier way. Any suggestions?

Go to PTC Technical Support.
There is good explonation " Suggested
Technique for Creating a Helical Sweep".

Thats right, use a Helical Sweep and make the ends of the thread go into the cylinder, like real threads. This is done by creating a helical trajectory with curved ends.

If you need help, i can send you a .prt file with just that.
